Why is being a 'housewife' taken so seriously.
I set the bar to high! When I first got married and had kids I put everything else first...
I was literally 'married to the house'
Cleaning/ baking creating the right atmosphere for those that live here.
If I am not doing those things does it make me less of a wife or mother?
To those with smaller minds this is all a women is suppose to hope for and be settled with!?!?
It's horrible to feel like I've got nothing to move forward to but the lives of everyone around me!
If I don't put the effort to follow my heart and dreams no one else will.
Because mums are suppose to run the household, and apparently have no wish for a life with a little more. Let alone talk about time or finances that would benefit the whole family.
A women's word is barely heard let alone a 'housewife'.
Where did becoming a 'housewife' mean the education we have or would like to have means absolutely nothing to those that are not mums?
I'd like to have a job, a goal, someone to be impressed at my creativity and hard efforts!
